Year: 1998 Synopsis: "Gia" is based on the true story of top fashion model Gia Marie Carangi. Angelina Jolie portrays the life of the model from her rebelious youth through her over the top life as a fashion model to her untimely death at age 26. This is an outstanding movie that won an Emmy and two Golden Globe awards. In my opinion "Gia" is one of Angelina's Jolie's best films. Easily a "must see" if you're a fan of hers. |
